| La Diva Latina Magazine is ranked #2 by the top search engines, Yahoo!, MSN, and Google. La Diva Latina's popularity peeked in 2006. It was at this time that a cyberthief / cybersquatter, STOLE LaDivaLatina.com right off the internet. La Diva Latina tried to rebuild under LaDivaLatinaMagazine.com but instead decided to fight this thief in court ... and won! LaDivaLatina.com was back in full swing Summer 2007. In 2008, LaDivaLatina.com grew exponentially once again. The magazine format morphed into a blog-like magazine with weekly email blasts. In 2009, there was an explosion of Facebook followed by Twitter. La Diva kept up with the social networking, updating on Facebook and eventually getting Twitter as well. In 2010, Founder of La Diva questioned the existence of websites in general with the explosion of social networking. She felt that people gravitate to Facebook and get their info on Wikipedia and so on. It was her theory that people would no longer have a need to go to websites like LaDiva. Well, she was WRONG! Requests for LaDiva kept coming in 2010. An Interview with La Cholita, the Latin Queen of Burlesque was scheduled. As destiny would have it, Cher and Christiina Aquilera come out with the movie Burlesque at the same time. So La Diva is back on track and on the cutting edge. Merging the behemoths of Facebook and Twitter with LaDiva content is where La Diva continues in 2011! |
