Considered one of the premier composers of all time, Armando Manzanero received the 2003 Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award.


Born in 1935, in Mexico, Armando Manzanero began his musical career at the tender age of eight. His songs have been recorded by such reknowned artists from Luis Miguel to Elvis Presley. He has composed over 400 songs of which more than 50 have attained international fame.


Sounds impossible? Yes, it is! Somos Novios was translated into English by Sid Wayne and recorded by Perry Como in 1971 entitled: It's Impossible.
